Sadly, not everyone loves our bushland and its surrounds. The discarded items above were recovered from a fairly small area beside a steam that runs through a revegetation patch recently worked on by the Dawn Road Reserve Bushcare group and local volunteers.
If you live in or near the Reserve, please don’t use it as a dumping ground for discarded items, garden clippings, unwanted garden plants (which may be pest species in the wild) or other items, including biodegradable items (which may cause harm to wildlife).
Instead, use your MBRC-supplied kerbside rubbish bin or take larger or recyclable items to the council’s Bunya Waste Management Facility at 384 Bunya Rd, Bunya (700m beyond the Jinker Track intersection). It’s open seven days a week from 7am until at least 5pm.
