Your help needed to protect precious wildlife corridor

If you have enjoyed exploring the Dawn Road Reserve, perhaps you didn’t know that it is part of the wonderful Mountains to Mangrove Corridor that is under threat from over-development in nearby suburbs.

One local wildlife group is running a petition to ensure a narrow strip of land is preserved to ensure the corridor remains unbroken, allowing wildlife to travel safely along the length of this magnificent stretch of green that begins to the west-south-west of our Reserve and ends to the east at the dual wetlands of Boondall and Tinchi Tamba (on the South Pine River). Both wetlands sit adjacent to Moreton Bay.

You can help that group preserve that land by signing the petition at https://www.epetitions.brisbane.qld.gov.au/petition/sign/pid/829 today.
